Application steps+

1Prepare the fabric

Place your fabric item (T-shirt, sweatshirt, cushion cover, etc.) on a flat, firm surface. If you’re using a heat press, preheat it. Make sure the fabric is clean, smooth, and dry.

2Position the design

Place your weeded UV Color Changing Heat Transfer Vinyl design on the fabric where you want it. Cover the design with a Teflon sheet to prevent direct contact with the heat source.

3Press

Using a heat press or an iron, press the design at 150 °C for 15 seconds with medium pressure.

4Peel

Wait about 20 seconds after pressing, then gently peel off the clear carrier sheet while it’s still warm.

5Final press

Place the Teflon sheet back over the design and press a second time for 15 seconds.

Care & washing+

First wash

Wait 24 hours after applying your UV Color Changing Heat Transfer Vinyl before washing the garment for the first time.

Washing instructions

Wash the garment inside out at 30 °C to keep your design looking its best. Our vinyl withstands 60+ washes at 30 °C.

Maximum wash temperature: 40 °C.

Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.

Ironing

Iron on the reverse side only to protect the design.

Drying

Avoid tumble drying to help preserve the durability of your design.

The UV Color Changing Heat Transfer Vinyl changes colour the moment sunlight hits it, creating a magical effect right before your eyes.

Ultra-thin at just 80 microns, it gives an elegant matte finish that blends perfectly into the fabric, so you barely feel it to the touch.

Made from polyurethane (PU), it is designed to bond durably into the fabric fibres during heat application. The result: a design that withstands 60+ machine washes without cracking, peeling or losing its colours.

Cutting

Use a cutting machine, such as a Silhouette Cameo or Cricut, to cut your chosen design from the vinyl.

Weeding

Remove the excess vinyl around your design and any unwanted pieces inside it.

Pressing

Place your design on the textile and press at 150°C for 15 seconds with a heat press or an iron.

Finished result

Peel off the transparent plastic carrier while it’s still warm, about 20 seconds after pressing. Press again for 15 seconds and admire your personalised creation!
