1. Purpose of this policy

This policy describes how Paper Transfer collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use transfer-paper.com or contact us. It applies to all visitors and customers, regardless of their country.

We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

By using our site or placing an order, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

4. Data we collect

We collect data you give us directly (name, email, shipping address, phone, payment details processed by our payment partner) and technical data collected automatically (IP address, browser, device, pages viewed).

5. How we use the data

We use your data to:

• Process your orders and ship them
• Manage your account and respond to your messages
• Send order updates and, when you opt in, marketing emails
• Measure and improve the site
• Detect fraud and meet our legal obligations

6. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers we rely on to run the site: our payment processor (Stripe), email provider (Resend), email marketing (Klaviyo), affiliate program (Rewardful), shipping carrier, hosting (Infomaniak) and analytics. Each provider acts under contract and only for the purpose we asked them to.

7. Retention

We keep order and accounting data for the legal retention period (10 years in France). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe, or for at most 3 years of inactivity. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months.

8. Security

We use TLS encryption for all traffic, hashed passwords, access control on our admin tools and regular backups. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Minors

Our site is not aimed at children under 15. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we delete it.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to certain processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the French CNIL (cnil.fr).

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@paper-transfer.com with proof of identity. We respond within one month.
