Affiliate program terms

1. Purpose
These terms govern the Paper Transfer affiliate program. Enrolling in the program means you have read and accepted them. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on the day of the relevant referral.
2. Enrollment
Anyone aged 18 or over with a valid Paper Transfer customer account can apply. We reserve the right to refuse an application or terminate an affiliate's participation at any time, in particular for breach of these terms.
3. Commissions
Affiliates earn a commission on every order paid in full that is attributed to their referral link. The current commission rate is shown in the affiliate dashboard. Commissions are calculated on the order's pre-tax, pre-shipping amount.
4. Attribution
Referrals are attributed via the cookie-based tracker on our site. The attribution window is 30 days from the visitor's first click on the affiliate link. Returns, refunds and chargebacks reduce or cancel the corresponding commission.
5. Payouts
Commissions become payable 30 days after the order ships, once the right-of-withdrawal period has expired. Payouts are made by bank transfer to the IBAN provided in the affiliate's account, once the balance reaches €25.
6. Prohibited practices
Self-referrals, paid search bidding on Paper Transfer trademarks, spam, misleading advertising, cookie stuffing, and any other practice that artificially inflates or misattributes commissions are prohibited and may lead to immediate termination and forfeiture of pending commissions.
7. Termination
Either party can terminate the relationship at any time. On termination we pay out any commission that has already become payable; pending commissions are reviewed against these terms and cancelled in case of breach.
8. Liability
Paper Transfer is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or any consequence arising from the use of the affiliate program. The total liability is capped at the commissions paid to the affiliate over the past 12 months.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes will first be addressed amicably; failing that, the competent courts in France have jurisdiction.
